Writing in the science of Joomla, I must say that www.Shape5.com has portrayed itself as a very diligent seller who is precisely explaining about the template services they offer. The first thing that caught my sight was the fine typography used in the Shape5’s design showing professionalism and quality experience. However, today we are going to find out more about the Joomla templates rather than the website itself.
Mastering in the design and code of Joomla templates and Joomla 1.5 templates, Shape5 recently announces to move ahead with only Joomla 1.5 in order to work on advanced level. Let me feature down the template elements for you to realize the benefits:
- 100% Tableless design and CSS code
- XHTML Validation
- CSS Validation
- SQL Dump
- Joomla 1.5 compatibility
- Multiple and fully collapsible module positions
- S5 Effects in JavaScript
- Custom Virtuemart themes
- Sliced PSD’s
- Tooltips enabled
- Multiple Menu Systems: No-Moo Drop Down, No-Moo Fading, Suckerfish
- Browser Compatibility
You can first test and measure these features through a LIVE DEMO link where I spent about half hour enjoying the template in action. You can further add satisfaction by reading through answers in “Pre-Sales questions” section. In case you want to try Shape5 without spending anything, try out the FREE extra-ordinary templates and extensions. If you are pleased with the service, I am listing down the club membership packages for your convenience.
Standard Membership :
$45 (3 months to use any Shape5 products on maximum 2 domains)
$65 ( 1 year to use any Shape5 products on maximum 4 domains)
$110 (1 year to use any Shape5 products on Unlimited domains)
Developer Membership:
$225 (1 year to use Shape5 products on unlimited revisions)
You might figure out that $110 membership is better than of Developer package, however if you choose to deal Developer Membership, it will exclude all non-profit websites.
To find tutorials on all topics about your template, you can simply click the “Tutorial” menu and browse through all the handling and managing instructions. From my perspective, Shape5 collects a large database of information in their forums, as there is a regular posting activity for new and existing members. Over 21,000 posts give an expression of a large community established with Shape5.
Furthermore, right before deciding to purchase a membership, take a cursory look at Terms and Conditions while I am going to share the most important Refund Policy. Shape5 like other professionals offer non-tangible irrevocable products and hence are not liable for any refunds to the paid memberships. Therefore, please take your time reviewing through Demos and overall service quality and I am sure you will make a deal today as I did.

Shape5′s support is outstanding (yes, really!). This past week I purchased a Shape5 template called ‘Spheredocs’. I wanted to customize the look of this Joomla template and received an immediate reply from the owner showing the file and line number of where to modify the template. Unlike other providers of templates, Shape5 is responsive and will answer you questions prompty.
After six hours of customizing my template I ran into bug (likely from own changes to the template). This time, it was the weekend and I didn’t expect to hear a reply until Monday. But I was pleasantly surprised again to hear back from the owner who corrected the bug in only about 15 minutes. Does customer service get any better than this?
Finally, I would like make one more important comment about the value of Shape5′s club offerings. When you use a Shape5 template, they allow you to remove their links so you have complete control over what is shown on your template. Most other template clubs charge an additional $40 for each domain above what you pay for their club membership.
I highy recommend Shape5 for both the value and quality of their support.
Regards,
Dan Tyler
The shape5 template would be really great for my website that I am currently developing now. I really liked it. It is very decent looking and suitable for business websites.
Front page boxes were moved and I can not figure out how to fix them. Can you please help?
